School of Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The School of Pharmaceutical Chemistry was established in 2012 with the aim of training chemists specifically in the field of drug synthesis and modeling for assigning new lead pharmaceutical compound. This school has very closely worked in partnership with the school of pharmacy with its well qualified and experienced faculty members, for the purpose of teaching and research. At the present, the school has three educational laboratories, two research laboratories and also a pharmaceutical raw material research center. Since its establishment the member of academics with the help of their students published in excess of 160 articles in reputable and ISI journals. The joint venture and partnership with the school of pharmacy resulted in three end products actively marketed and offered to the member of public. Currently, in excess of 2000 students are studying pharmaceutical chemistry and applied chemistry as bachelor degree programs. The postgraduate courses offered are essence technology, phytochemistry, nano-drug science, and organic chemistry.
